One currency from start to finish

Every loan is priced, funded, disbursed and repaid in US dollars, the currency microfinance already borrows in. Lenders see every dollar move, and MFIs see what it is worth in local currency before they accept it.

The Harvest Circle platform

Everything a lender and an MFI need to move dollars to small businesses, and prove where they went.

Plain US dollars

Fund by card, ACH or wire. No wallets, tokens or exchanges. One currency in, the same currency out.

Follow every dollar

Each loan has its own ledger with bank reference numbers, so you see who you funded, what was repaid and what is still owed.

Pro-rata repayments

When a borrower repays, each lender's USD balance updates by their share. Withdraw to your bank whenever you like.

Verified on both sides

Every MFI and lender passes an ID and selfie check plus OFAC sanctions screening. Borderline matches go to a human reviewer.

Faster to the MFI

Once a loan is fully funded, the principal is released to the MFI's bank account by USD wire. No chain of intermediaries.

Local value up front

MFIs see today's value in their local currency before a loan is funded, so everyone knows what the dollars are worth where they land.

How a USD loan moves

1US$

MFI lists a loan

A licensed MFI posts the borrower, purpose, amount in USD, rate and term.

2US$

Lenders fund in USD

Verified lenders fund any amount by card, ACH or wire until the loan is full.

3US$

USD wire to the MFI

The full principal goes to the MFI's bank account, which lends it on locally.

4US$

Dollars come back

Repayments are split pro-rata into each lender's USD balance, ready to withdraw.

The hard questions

Why US dollars and not local currency or crypto?

Most microfinance institutions already raise their wholesale funding in US dollars. Keeping every loan in USD means lenders never touch an exchange, and the MFI converts once, locally, through its own bank. You see the local-currency value before you fund.

How do I put money in and take it out?

Fund a loan by card, ACH or bank wire. Repayments land in your USD balance on the platform, and you can withdraw that balance to your own bank account at any time.

Microfinance is regulated differently in every country. How can one marketplace handle that?

We build on local regulation rather than replacing it. Only licensed MFIs can list loans, and we record each institution's registration and license number during onboarding. The MFI stays the lender of record in its own market.

Do micro-borrowers need a smartphone or a bank account?

No. Borrowers deal with their MFI exactly as they do today, through the same loan officers. The MFI handles everything on the platform for them.

Why should I trust a new platform with my money?

Start with the 14-day free trial, fund one small loan, and follow its full trail, from your payment to the wire to each repayment, before committing more.
